Presque Isle Sunrise Ride

The My PI Sunrise Ride is part of Lake Erie Cyclefest 2024, Jul. 25 – Jul. 28. Cyclefest will feature multiple rides offering a variety of scenery and terrain offered throughout the weekend.

Fitting for all ages and skill levels, the Presque Isle Sunrise Ride provides the opportunity to become one with Presque Isle as you ride into the beauty of the rising sun. The ride is hosted on the last day of Discover Presque Isle, the annual celebration of all things Presque Isle. Included in your registration is a complimentary ticket to the Pancake Breakfast at the Rotary Pavilion following your ride. And NEW this year, participants are invited to enjoy a special sunrise tour of the Presque Isle Lighthouse and climb the tower between 6am & 8am. Come celebrate and support Presque Isle!

Route Distance: 13 miles

Route: Route begins at Beach 1 and follows the main roadway OR multipurpose trail around the whole park in a counterclockwise direction, ending back at Beach 1.

Registration:

• $30 through June 30
• $35 after June 30

Check-in / Packet pickup: 5:45 - 7:40 A.M. Beach 1 Pavilion

Registration includes:

• complimentary ticket to the Pancake Breakfast at the Rotary Pavilion following your ride. breakfast service begins at 7:30AM
• sunrise tour of the Presque Isle Lighthouse; 6-8am, first come, first served.

Parking: Beach 1

Start Time: 6:00am. Riders choosing to participate in a group start should be checked in and ready to ride by sunrise (6:10 A.M.) For those not-so-early birds - feel free to start any time before 7:30A.M.

Sunrise on Jul. 28, 2024: 6:10 A.M.

No age limitation: riders under the age of 18 require parent/guardian authorization.
